- Opening the stage for singer-songwriter Chen Li’s 30th-birthday road set in Harbin, China’s UNESCO-listed “City of Music,” while capturing local architecture and street life through live, unplugged performance.
- Part of the five-episode docuseries Walk on Melody—co-produced by Trip.com Group and Time Island—to fuse on-the-road storytelling with site-specific concerts and boost cultural-tourism visibility.
Key Outcomes
- Premiered on Tencent Video’s Documentary channel (25 min) and featured on the platform’s weekly editors’ pick list (Aug 2021).
- Earned mainstream press coverage; Sohu News highlighted the series as “a new exploration that marries music and geography”.
- Full season secured a second-window run on QQ Music & KuGou; episode-level metrics under NDA (available on request).
My Contributions
- Executive Production – budget control, contract & release management, two-camera unit scheduling in Harbin.
- Script Development – drafted host narration, interview prompts, location beats; ensured Mandarin/English bilingual deliverables.
- Artist & Location Liaison – negotiated performance permits (Saint Sophia Cathedral, Songhua River embankment) with city cultural bureau; coordinated Chen Li’s label for music-rights clearance.
- Field Direction – ran on-site blocking, safety protocols, and live-audio capture for outdoor sets.
- Post-production Supervision – guided edit rhythm, colour grade, and lower-third graphics; delivered master to Tencent Video QC.
